A movie recommendation app that answers the only question that matters on a Friday night: what do I watch next? Built end-to-end, recently out of stealth and live at bepikky.com.

The problem

Picking a film has become harder than watching one. Every service pushes its own catalogue, recommendations optimise for retention over taste, and the decision fatigue lands on you. Pikky starts from the opposite premise — match the suggestion to the person, get them to a great pick fast, and get out of the way.

The build

A single Next.js application — server-rendered, animation-considered, and fast on a phone. I owned the whole surface end to end: product and interface, the recommendation flow, and shipping it to production under its own domain.

It started as one of two projects I kept in stealth. This is the one that's out.
